    Job Duties but not limited to : • To carry out all types of marine underwater operations for surveying, photography of hulls and propulsion, seabed welding and cutting both underwater and onshore. • Carry out underwater operations associated with installation, repositioning and recovery of all types of navigational marks, their anchors, and beacons under the management of the Marine Department. • Carry out underwater search for sunken and lost buoys over a very large area requiring extended underwater diving exposure. • Carry out underwater survey of hull and propulsion of all port marine crafts and carry out underwater growth cleaning of engine intakes, grills, foul propellers, shafts, and thrusters, as required. • Perform underwater survey and photography of ships hull, propellers, shafts, bow and stern thrusters, water intakes and discharge valves of vessels and submit a report, as required. • Carry out underwater survey and photography of seabeds and prepare professional reports prior to berthing of rigs, as required by clients. • Carry out underwater maintenance and temporary leak plugging repairs of buoys and vessels as required. • Develop underwater activities of this division to perform work for the private sector during slack maintenance period. • Monitor underwater diving operations carried out by Navy and private divers within the Ports limits • Carry out underwater fender repair work on the quay wall. • Carry out diving operations for recovery of cargo/cargo gear that fall into the harbor. • Carry out underwater survey and photography of hull, engine and other cooling water intakes, grills and foul propellers of vessels/crafts using the port, as and when required. • Accompany other divers hired from outside by port users to carry out certain diving tasks their clients’ vessels within ports limits. • Provide stand by emergency cover during weekends and public holidays for navigation marks and other assignments. • Log record of daily work and submit weekly written report of work done related to diving activities and other assignments undertaken for the marine operations division.
